The task was simple. Tease us with a new direction for our brand.

The client came to us wanting to see a new take on their brand. They wanted to modernise it and align it with their exciting aerospace material. However, they didn't have the budget to launch an official rebrand without the buy-in from the directors. Our solution was a modern, sleek and clean art direction that drew influence from the engineering world.

Refreshing and aligning product with brand.

The new brand direction was to be showcased through a digital publication.
The client used a lot of digital publications to advertise their offering and services. These worked, and they worked well for them. However, they looked dated and didn't fully represent them. This was the basis for us, using this as the use case to create a new brand platform off.

Digital publication development.

How could we develop the engineering influence and at the same time keep it sleek?
Engineering is heavily based off technical drawings and diagrams with spot on precision. With this in mind, a grid system was developed for layout and positioning of elements. The colours were also paired right back to a simple monochromatic styling to align with this new sleek and modern direction.

Engineering styling and influence.

Making the most of the riveting subject matter.
Fighter jets, rockets, aircraft carriers, turbines, missiles and space; just to name a few of the products that are developed through the clients offerings. This had to be leveraged more so than it already was. Stunning, exciting imagery that showcased these things was aligned to contrast with the paired back, black and white gridded design. This allowed the imagery to be front and centre showcasing the the new direction of the brand.

Overly exciting subject matter
